Hello! My name is Chamaine Ackerman and I am the founder and director of Good News Dance Company.

Why are we called "Good News?" The story of Jesus Christ and the wonderful opportunity He has given us is the Good News. He has changed our lives, saved us from trouble, answers our prayers, heals, restores, blesses and vindicates us...all because He loves us. So it is with great joy that we call ourselves the "Good News Dance Company!" As His word says, "Blessed are the feet of those who bring Good News" (Rom.10:15). If you do not know Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour then we encourage you to read John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life."

After many years of dancing for the world, I know that nothing could ever fulfill and complete my life like dancing for the Lord. We dance before Him not to be seen but for others to see Jesus through us and in turn they will be saved, healed and even delivered. I have discovered so much victory and blessing in my life by simply praising God with all that is within me.

There is no better time than now to give your talents to Him who gave them to us so graciously. (James 1:17) So let's come together and express God's heart in as many ways as possible to be all things to everyone that we might win some to Christ. (1 Cor. 9:19) The time is now. We live in a world of lost hopes and dreams. Of violence, hatred, bitterness, lust, greed, and the list continues on as people look for answers apart from Christ. I believe through our obedience and a willing heart we can make a great difference by using the tools He first created. Why do I dance for Jesus? It's worship and praise and it's what we were all born to do.
