 Hi, my name is Anastacia Bennett, though at Good News Dance Company I am known as Miss Tacy. My dance training did not start with GND Co. I grew up dancing in many professional ballet companies ranging from Orange County to New York. When I was 15, I was dancing with a company in Philadelphia, living in a big city, skinny and talented (every teenage girl's dream, right?) Then why was I so miserable? No matter how much time I spent rehearsing, no matter how many shows I did that weekend, or how much weight I lost, I was still unhappy. I became obsessed with self-perfection. At age 16 I quit dancing because I thought the dancing itself was making me unhappy. But that wasn't the case; I was dancing to prove to myself and others, and not for the one who gave me this wonderful gift in the first place. God gave me the gift of dance! So I should dance! Then I soon met Chamaine Ackerman and she offered me a position teaching ballet at GND Co. and I'm so glad I said yes. Because of her and my wonderful students I can gladly say that I LOVE to dance, because I can do it for Him! God truly powers and motivates my dancing. I love using my gift to minister to others, and let me tell you, it totally rocks! I have been with GND Co. since fall of 2003 and I am very proud to be a part of this amazing ministry.

 Since I began dancing at age 8, dance has been my passion. Becoming an adult for me meant putting my dancing on hold. First, there were bills to be paid, then there were children to raise, and finally, I met Chamaine Ackerman! PRAISE THE LORD!! For 12 years I took and taught lessons in tap, jazz, ballet, and various other styles of dance, solely because it was fun. I do believe one should dance because it is fun and they truly enjoy it, however, joining this ministry has taught me that dancing can mean so much more! Using my God given talent to minister to others through dance and teaching, has brought a deeper meaning of spirituality and joy to my life unlike anything I have ever experienced. I am truly blessed for this opportunity to dance again. Thank you Lord! Thank you Chamaine! Thank you Carol!

Good News has been such an awesome place of fellowship, fun, and physical education. Miss Chamaine and the other nurturing teachers have not only taught me the art of dance, but also have built up my spiritual health; that is, my relationship with Christ. I praise God everyday for this wonderful studio. Here, I have found a new way to worship the Lord. Through this studio, so many important scriptures and teaching testimonies have been brought to me. Now that I am an assistant in some classes, I hope to share my gift with others, show them our higher purpose for dancing, and give them the amazing experience I have at Good News Dance Co. I know that God has brought me here for a reason because I have learned so much. I have learned to use my talents for the glory of God; therefore, use my dancing feet to spread the Good News.


Tricia Muller

 Hi my name is Tricia, or Miss Tricia as the students know me. I have been raised a christian and continue to follow that path. Finally I have found a way to praise the lord through dance and teaching that has been an amazing experience. Since I was 3 years old until I was about 17, I danced for The Riverside Dance Company. During that time I was trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical. I love ballet, but I try to challenge myself with all the different dance styles. I also danced with my high school dance team doing mostly hip hop. I feel so blessed to have found Good News Dance Company and I believe that God has brought me here for a reason.
